Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the DocScanProX app ("App") developed by Draco Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to Apple's Media Services Terms (App Store Terms of Service).

2. Subscriptions & purchases

DocScanProX is free to download and includes free scanning and PDF export. Premium features are available through an auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly, or annual) or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

3. Acceptable use

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights.
• Scan, alter, or reproduce documents you are not authorized to handle, or use the App to create forged or misleading documents.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the App.
• Interfere with the normal operation or security of the App.

4. Your content

You are solely responsible for the documents you scan, edit, sign, or share through the App. Your files remain yours; we claim no ownership of them and, because processing happens on your device, we do not have access to them. Electronic signatures added with the App may not be legally valid in every jurisdiction or for every type of document — it is your responsibility to confirm the requirements that apply to you.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its source code, design, icons, and the "DocScanProX" brand, is owned by Draco Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that text recognition (OCR) or image enhancement will be error-free or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draco Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including loss of documents. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important files.

8. Changes & termination

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Draco Studio operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
